Hexagon joins the world’s largest industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains

Hexagon is committed to upholding high standards in all sustainability areas, through initiatives that reduce our own environmental footprint, better meet customer requests, positively influence recruitment and hiring diversity, generate savings, and fuel innovation.

As the next step in Hexagon’s sustainability journey, the organization recently joined other business leaders in driving sustainable value for workers, the environment and businesses by joining the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).

The RBA is a group of more than 400 members across industries with products that are manufactured in over 120 countries, all committed to supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities worldwide affected by the global supply chain. As part of the RBA, Hexagon will drive sustainable value across its supply chain and internal operations through RBA standards, policies, risk assessment platforms, audit tools, e-learnings and more. The membership is an important step towards reaching Hexagon’s goal of conducting sustainability supplier audits on 100 percent of direct suppliers in risk areas by 2023.

“Building sustainable practices across our operations and supply chain reduces risks, strengthens relationships and ultimately creates value for Hexagon and our customers. As a global company with operations in more than 50 countries, we have the opportunity and responsibility to drive real change by upholding the highest standards in all business areas. By joining the RBA, we will work together with some of the world’s leading companies to improve working and environmental conditions across the world,” said Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén.

Hexagon fully supports the vision and goals of the RBA. In addition, Hexagon is committed to progressively aligning its operations with the provisions of the RBA Code of Conduct and to support and encourage its first-tier suppliers to do the same.
