Breaking the Boundaries of Innovation – Shaping Change Recognition Programme

For many years, there have been organisations that have stood in partnership with us, not only in the utilisation of our technologies, but also in their shared commitment to Hexagon’s vision – to play a leading role in  the effort to solve the challenges our world is facing. This was the motivation behind the development of the Shaping Change Recognition Programme, a perfect way to acknowledge their contributions.

Shaping change is all about our founding focus: taking a leadership role in solving the world’s challenges through the use of information technology software and solutions. So it’s no surprise that this year’s honorees are organisations that make a significant impact on our world.

It is my pleasure to congratulate Bechtel, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, New Zealand Police, Shell, Vale SA and Zimmer. We were excited to recognise them as inaugural Shaping Change honorees during the opening night of HxGN LIVE 2014.

Through their partnership with Hexagon and its brands, these organisations have advanced leading ideas and best practices in their respective markets. We have seen their efforts advance from a root “thought” phase to full-out comprehensive, strategic approaches to solving challenges.

In establishing the Shaping Change Recognition Programme, Hexagon hopes to inspire others to adopt our technology for bold, forward-thinking use. Together, we can complete work that promotes smart societies and industry sectors all across the globe.

We look forward to celebrating their continued progress and success – congratulations again to this year’s honorees!

Utilising Hexagon technologies to solve global challenges – that’s shaping smart change.
