This year at HxGN LIVE 2015 in Las Vegas, Hexagon Geospatial was proud to announce several new strategic innovations. The Producer Online provides a powerful new method of accessing geospatial desktop software by delivering it through cloud-paging, a method that pages the software down to your local system and still allows you keep your data secure and local. With the advent of Hexagon Smart M.Apps, we are changing the way the geospatial world thinks about maps by empowering partners to build their own innovative applications that deliver specific answers to unique business problems.
For an application to be truly dynamic, it needs access to timely, relevant and accurate data streams. At Hexagon Geospatial we understand this need and this is why we have begun establishing partnerships with data providers to secure a stream of data that can fuel the next generation of applications. Through our partnerships with Leica Geosystems, we have joined the Hexagon Imagery Program (HxIP) which provides our customers with on-demand access to airborne imagery for their use in the Producer Suite.
To further enhance their data options, we recently teamed up with Airbus Defense and Space to leverage their incredibly comprehensive catalog of data, providing access to content from Airbus Defense and Space’s high-resolution optical satellites, including Pléiades and SPOT. With their ability to image almost any area of the earth daily, Airbus Defense and Space provides a steady stream of high-quality data allowing customers to fuel their Smart Applications with near-real-time, fresh and accurate data.
