Change is the Only Constant in Life

The Greek philosopher Heraclitus said, “Change is the only constant in life.” A lot has changed at Hexagon over the last year, and innovation is at the heart of this change.

Hexagon’s commitment to innovation is paramount to becoming a long-term business partner for customers. So, in an effort to strengthen and expand our innovation initiatives and better support our solution-centric strategy, Hexagon recently created the Innovation Hub.

The Innovation Hub consists of a Technology Centre, an Applications Centre and Hexagon Ventures (formerly Hexagon Solutions). While the Technology Centre primarily focuses on hardware innovation and product-related software, the Applications Centre is focused on the development of interoperability, applications and systems engineering platforms. Hexagon Ventures will continue to bring those latest innovations to the market via smart solutions for business verticals to create the next generation of value for you, our customer.

Hexagon Agriculture, formerly a vertical business of the erstwhile Hexagon Solutions, officially launched in February as a new business focused on providing smart solutions to address challenges within the vital agroindustry. Arvus Tecnologia and iLab Solutions, two companies known for their innovative agriculture technologies and acquired by Hexagon in 2014, form the foundation of Hexagon Agriculture along with the agriculture business unit of Leica Geosystems.

We are energised and excited about the future and hope you are, too.

HxGN LIVE is right around the corner and we look forward to seeing you and sharing our vision for the future.

Leading innovation to make a positive impact on our ever-changing world – that’s shaping smart change.
